About Charlie

Charlie Comeau is a top 2029 softball catcher. She plays for the Firecrackers premier RTY black 14U, a 2026 Colorado National Power Pool team, for travel ball and Crean Lutheran High School Varsity team where she serves as Team Captain and starting catcher.

Charlie is a 4.33 GPA student athlete. Her primary position is catcher with her secondary first base and tertiary RF/LF. Charlie hits for a high average, OBP, and hits for power with a high SLG and OPS. Her PB pop time from home to 2nd is 1.60 seconds. She has exceptional blocking and framing skills and manages her pitching staff and defensive alignments well throughout games. Charlie is a vocal leader and leads by example, pushing her teammates to give their very best each time they step on the field. Her coaches have nicknamed her “The Honey-Badger” for her grit and fight to win. They’ve also called her “Chuck Norris” because she blocks everything.

Top 2029 softball catcher Charlie Comeau hits for high average, power, and OPS. She is very quick with her mechanics which result in runners thrown out stealing and being picked off. Charlie’s understanding of the game is strong and grows daily. At 14, a few times a week she wakes up at 4am to stretch, lift, and hit during the week. She does a phenomenal job of balancing her softball workouts and academic curriculum. Charlie was valedictorian of her 8th grade class and through her first semester of high school, has earned strait As.

Charlie believes in giving back to the next generation of catchers. As a result, she is currently providing lessons to the all-star catchers at Rancho Trabuco Girls Softball Association (winner of multiple national championships).
